AirBuddy was crafted with privacy as its cornerstone. You purchase AirBuddy to use its features, therefore I as the developer have no interest in your data. Once registered, AirBuddy can be utilized entirely offline, as the majority of its features are independent of an internet connection, thereby eliminating the need to transmit data to servers.

User preferences are consistently synchronized via iCloud, ensuring that any AirBuddy data shared between devices is protected by the privacy policies of Apple’s iCloud service.

The application incorporates minimal telemetry capabilities, which serve as a valuable tool for prioritizing feature development and identifying prevalent issues. Analytics for AirBuddy are managed by TelemetryDeck, a service that has been meticulously designed to prioritize user privacy.

1. Collection and Use of Your Information. AirBuddy may collect certain information to help make improvements to the Application. You have the option to disable data collection in the Application’s settings.
   If AirBuddy collects information, it will only include the following data points:
   1. The language your device is configured to use
   2. The model and firmware version of devices used with the Application
   3. Usage event data (e.g., number of times certain features of the Application are used)
   4. Application errors and crashes.
   5. AirBuddy does not collect personally identifying information or user IP addresses. Any data collected is stored in aggregate and without any identifiers that can be used to link specific data points to an individual user. This information is only used to help improve AirBuddy, it is not used for marketing or advertising purposes and is not shared with third-parties.

AirBuddy Help Assistant

The AirBuddy support website offers an optional AI assistant powered by Cloudflare AI Search. When you ask the assistant a question, Cloudflare processes your question and associated request information to retrieve relevant AirBuddy help articles and generate an answer. Don’t include personal information, license keys, or purchase details in your questions.

The assistant is separate from the AirBuddy app. Using AirBuddy doesn’t require using the assistant. AI-generated answers can be inaccurate, so check the linked help articles before making changes.
