Do I need an Apple Account to use AirBuddy?

No. AirBuddy’s core features don’t require an Apple Account.

Some Apple ecosystem features are easier when the Mac and other devices use the same Apple Account:

• AirPods and supported Beats pairings can become available on the Mac automatically.
• Nearby Macs running AirBuddy can establish a secure Magic Handoff connection automatically.
• Supported AirBuddy settings can sync between Macs through iCloud.

When devices or Macs use different Apple Accounts, use Add New Device in Devices settings to pair or troubleshoot them manually.
