How to remove or ignore devices in AirBuddy

Removing a device keeps it out of the AirBuddy Dashboard, widgets, and automatic Action HUD events. It doesn’t remove the device from Bluetooth settings or change its system pairing.

Remove a device from the Dashboard

1. Open the AirBuddy Dashboard.
2. Right-click or Control-click the device.
3. Choose Remove from AirBuddy.

Remove a device from settings

1. Open AirBuddy settings and select Devices.
2. Locate the device, then click the ellipsis button beside it.
3. Choose Remove from AirBuddy.

Let AirBuddy discover removed devices again

Removing a device makes AirBuddy ignore it going forward. To get a previously-removed device to show up in the app again, open AirBuddy settings, select Devices, then click the plus button and select the type of device you’d like to add. If you’ve previously removed a device of that type, the app will show it on the list and you can click the device to bring it back.

If the device doesn’t show up on that list, you can try deleting data from previously removed devices. Open AirBuddy settings, select Advanced, then click Delete Previously Removed Devices. AirBuddy can rediscover eligible nearby, connected, or trusted devices.
