How to uninstall AirBuddy

AirBuddy includes an uninstall assistant that removes its background components correctly.

1. Open AirBuddy settings.
2. Select Advanced.
3. Click Uninstall.
4. Choose an option, review what it removes, then continue.

The available choices can vary by edition:

• Reset Data deletes local preferences and caches but keeps AirBuddy installed and licensed.
• Basic Uninstall removes AirBuddy but keeps its preferences and license activation for a future reinstall.
• Full Uninstall deactivates the license, removes AirBuddy, and deletes local preferences and caches.

Use Reset Data when you want a fresh configuration without removing the app. Use Full Uninstall before giving away the Mac or when you want to remove all AirBuddy data.

Temporarily turn off AirBuddy

Open AirBuddy settings, select General, then turn off Enable and launch at login. AirBuddy’s background services and features remain unavailable until you turn it on again.
