I get an error when trying to mount the downloaded AirBuddy DMG, what can I do?

If you're getting a "resource busy" error when trying to mount the AirBuddy DMG, that's caused by a bug in macOS. Fortunately, it's quite easy to work around.

Option 1

Restart your Mac, the DMG will mount correctly after that.

Option 2 (if you don’t want to or can't restart)

• Copy the DMG in Finder (Cmd + C)
• Open Terminal (applications > utilities > terminal)
• Type “hdiutil attach “ (without quotes) and paste
• Hit enter

The DMG will be mounted and you'll be able to find it in the Finder sidebar.
