Why can’t I see the battery status for my AirPods, AirPods Pro or Powerbeats Pro charging case in AirBuddy?

AirBuddy will only show the battery status for your AirPods, AirPods Pro or Powerbeats Pro charging case when that status is available. The charging case doesn't have a Bluetooth radio of its own, so it relies on the buds being inside the charging case in order to transmit its status.

So if you can’t see the status for your charging case, it’s probably because there are no buds within the charging case, which means that it can’t send its status over to the Mac. You’ll notice the same behavior on your iPhone or iPad.
