Will AirBuddy work on macOS Monterey beta?

Apple announced the future release of macOS, version 12, also called macOS Monterey, during its keynote at WWDC 2021.

This version of macOS is currently available as a beta for developers and will soon also be available as a public beta for users.

AirBuddy will support macOS Monterey once the release version of the operating system is delivered to customers, which usually happens in October.

Until then, keep in mind that not all features of AirBuddy will work on macOS Monterey, and you may see crashes and all sorts of unexpected behavior.

If you'd like a chance to test AirBuddy features and bug fixes designed for macOS Monterey, you can join the AirBuddy beta program by emailing support.

Known issues

There is currently a major issue with Bluetooth on macOS Monterey which prevents AirBuddy from showing the status of your nearby AirPods and Beats devices. All other features of the app seem to work, but as always, expect a certain level of unreliability when running betas.
